Front Line - Outside Your Window EP

Requested by Kennyhel77 of the Days Of Our Youth blog.
Here's the Front Line 12" released on IM Records in 1986. Produced by Adam "Bomb" Segal of The Faction.
This one is the CA skatepunk band. There was another Front Line from the midwest in the early 80's that changed their name to God's Will.
Let's hope that Kennyhel can give us more info on this band.
Cover model is Chrissy Boggs if one really wants to know.

note: 1st 2 tracks ripped as one track as it was impossible to seperate them.

1. Here To Stay
2. Fight Back
3. New Generation
4. Your Time
5. All I Want
6. I Remember

Thanks for posting my request. Very nice of you!!! Frontline were from San Jose and lasted a a couple of years 1985-1987. They changed their name to Lifeline, released a split lp with No Alternative and then broke up. Joe Sib then moved down to Los Angeles and started the band Wax who found some fame and fortune. After that he then started Side 1/Dummy Records and started a new band called 22 Jacks with others from the Los Angeles area

Thanks for the excellent post! I had the opportunity to see Frontline live and they were a fun band to watch. You could tell they were enjoying what they were doing and they gave the audience 100%. I still have fond memories of that show some 22 years later.

Damn, I'm getting old!

Is this the same band that had a track "Survive" on Rat Music For Rat People Vol. 3? I loved that song but never could find any info about the band...

Killer post! I've been looking for this for years (too many bands named Frontline in some form or another). I had this tape back in the day, but that's long gone. Can't thank you enough for posting. Cheers!

Thanks much for this. I saw Frontline open for The Vandals...I thought it was '88. They were great, and I can still hear "Fight Back" in my head (despite never being able to find recorded material by these guys. Cheers!

What I do know is I went to High School with a redhead that looked "exactly" like Chrissy Boggs, right down to the hair and I regret never knocking her socks off.

Hey,

They actually have more records out. I've got a 5 song EP and the Split with No Alternative. There should be more still, but Joe Sib does not reply my e-mails for more info unfortunately......
