V/A Hardcore Power Music Part 2 LP

Here's the 2nd part of the series issued on Mülleimer, released in 1984. Way more bands than on the first volume and also much more diversity.
Inferno and Maniacs already appeared on the first one.
Other wellknown names are Razzia, Tin Can Army, Ausbruch and Mottek.
Razzia was one of the longer running bands. Their last release, the 'Labyrinth' LP is from 1995 although with a different singer.
Ausbruch did 2 albums, 'Harte Zeiten' in 1985 and the 'Auf Die Alten Zeiten' CD in 1994.
Mottek present an early version of a song that later appeared on their 2nd album 'Riot'. The later version has English lyrics.
Tin Can Army released a split album with Maniacs on Mülleimer and a 7" 'Be Invited'. There's an anthology LP released on Assel Records a few years ago.
Lustfinger started as a punkband but changed their sound to metal and later more rock.
Idiots is the Oi! band on this one.
Schluckspechte and Kommando Schwarzer Freitag never released anything else besides the songs appearing here. Schluckspechte is Deutschpunk while Kommando Schwarzer Freitag have a sound of their own and are one of the best bands on this compilation.

Great compilation, one of those i had to buy twice (LP & CD). I think Schluckspechte was a one-off but KSF had some really interesting songs, much in the vein
of Neurotic Arseholes.

Just fantastic all the way through. The Maniacs rage like the punky bastard sons of Motorhead and KSF try to get sophisticated while the thug-punk of The Idiots skulks menacingly in the background. It shouldn't work, but it does! Thanks for posting that.

This is my new favourite blog by the way.

Have you got The Squirt LP from 1986? I think it came out on Weird System. Could be junk, but their compilation tracks were spectacular.

Thanks for the appreciation. Don't have The Squirt album but would like to hear it as well. It isn't that hard to find but maybe Donut Duck could help.

Essential compilation for those who like German Punk. I'm still don't understand why I never heard it before as I love German Punk, silly me.
Thanx alot.

Ausbruch - Deutscher Eid seems to be broken inside the archive. Downloaded 5 times, always the same.
