The Sovjets - 18 Songs Bootleg Tape

The Sovjets were an early punk band from Belgium. They started in 1979 and released two 30 minutes demo tapes. Later they would change their name to Sovjet War and their sound got more wave. As Sovjet War they released the 'It Became A Problem' 7" in 1983.
This tape should have both demos on it but unfortunately only one side is recorded so you'll get only 8 songs. No titles are mentioned on the sleeve but I could manage to find some through their MySpace page.

The songs on their MySpace page actually have a better sound so let's hope that the ex-members still have the mastertapes of these recordings. A reissue would be very cool.

Niech Będzie? ‎– Ciekawość Cierpienia Tape

Here's another on from Poland. This tape was released in 1994 on the wellknown Nikt Nic Nie Wie label which is still active today.
The only release of Niech Będzie?. Don't have any info on them. Cool anarcho-HC/punk. There's a cover of US band Pissed as well.

Incest / Proces - Split Tape

Bootleg tape from Rumania with 2 demos of 2 Yugoslavian bands.
The Incest tracks were taken from a split tape with KBO! released in 1987. KBO! Seemed to exist for a long time but can't find any info on Incest.
Side B is the Proces demo from 1985. Maybe you'll know them from the split 7" with Stengte Dører. Those track appear on the tape as well. Ne! Records from Sweden released the demo with a live recording on vinyl (with CD) as the 'Illusions Are Bleeding' album in 2012. Probably better quality than this rip.
Some titles have been altered. I used the correct titles found on Discogs.

Kangrena Sozial - Demo Tape

Remember buying this tape in Zaragoza, Spain while on tour with Katastrophobia. We played with Seeing Red and I also met some cool people like Pu and Pablo, who would later play in Kärnvapen Attack.
Kangrena Sozial were Spanish punks living in London.This tape was recorded in 1997 in some London Squat.
Willy of Hiatus does extra vocals on 'La Siete'. Don't expect crust here, this is great HC/punk.

Patrimonium Del Pueblo - Pustka Tape

Last post on the some Polish tapes for now.
Patrimonium Del Pueblo was a crust band from Dąbrowa Górnicza, in the south of Poland.
Their only album is the 'Pustka' tape released in 1999 on Stradoom Terror (the label of the band with the same name). There seems to be a split tape with French grindcore band Hypoptalasias with mostly live recordings. Don't think the band was around for a long time.

Amen / Red Light Split Tape

Split tape with 2 crusty HC/punk bands from Lóblin. Amen is the most wellknown as some members went on to Antichrist. Red Light is not so known although they released a 7"as well (which I never heard). Amen did a 7" on the same label as this tape, Lagart Factory Lóblin. This label, initially a tape label,was run by members of Amen (later Antichrist) and also released vinyl and CD's.
This tape was released in 1994.

Dezynfekcja - Zwyrodniały Ranking Wartości Tape

Another obscure punk band from Poland. Dezynfekcja were from Bogatynia, a city close to the border of Czech and Germany. Their one and only tape was released in 1996 on Polish label
Czerwony Diabełek, which is still around. I remember ordering this tape and a few others from this label in the late 90's.
Can't find any info on the band but they play crusty, political HC/punk and have 2 vocalists. Don't think they were  around that long.

Action Freedom - Walka Trwa! Tape

Next Polish band is more in the anarchopunk vein. 'Walka Trwa!' is the 1st tape of Action Freedom, released in 1999 on tape label TKA. Their 2nd release was a split tape with Amen (their 7") on Nikt Nic Nie Wie in 2002.
11 tracks of powerful, political punk with a sax. Reminds me a bit of Wlochaty or Stracony.
TKA was one of the many Polish tape labels around releasing mainly crust stuff like Bisect, Alkochol Front, Anti-Holocaust, ..., as well as discographies / tape versions of vinyl albums of foreign bands like Disclose, Hiatus, Extinction Of Mankind, Those Who Survived The Plague, ...
